Unplugg’d x D&D Finer Foods

As the coronavirus pandemic drags on, small businesses have been pushed to the brink, particularly in college towns. In normal years, many owners stay in business thanks to a dependent and steady flow of supportive students that vanished for a vast portion of 2020.

Evanston, IL is no exception. According to experts, nearby Northwestern University accounts for a staggering $350 million in annual revenue towards stores in the area. With students recently returning to campus after six long months, many owners are either playing catch-up or closed shop altogether.

The D&D Finer Foods x Unplugg’d collaboration is intended to support their store during tribulating times while simultaneously celebrating the legendary local staples across the country that help shape many of our undergraduate careers.
